Ahhh, Friday!

It's Friday and I've never been so glad that it is in my entire life. We've had a super busy day. Here's how it went:
  • Got up at 5:30. AM. I wish it had been PM but it certainly wasn't.
  • Got boys up and got out the door at 6:30. AM. Not PM. I wish it had been PM.
  • Got to the office at 7:30. AM.
  • At 8 AM called the headstart office to see what time enrollments were being done. I thought it was 11 am. I was wrong. It was 9 am.
  • Left the office at 8:30 to go pick up my baby. Got to the school at about 9 am.
  • Didn't have all of the paper work I needed to get the punk enrolled into headstart, if they'll even accept him. Needed Iron and Lead levels for him during his physical but didn't get them.
  • Left to go to family doctor to get Iron and Lead levels. They don't do them. Found out after waiting for an hour that they don't do them.
  • Got back to the office with the little punk at about 10:30 am. Called the pediatrician to see if they could do the test. Yes they could and they'd see him at 2:30 pm.
  • Left the office at 11:30 am to go get the baby got home at 12:30. Spent an hour at home waiting for hubby to get home from school so he could go with us. He hadn't taken his cell with him so couldn't get in touch with him.
  • Got to Ashland. Saw hubby's car parked at a gas station. That was strange. Got a call from hubby. Piece of junk car had broken down. He'd been sitting at that station for 2 1/2 hours. Had finally called his dad. I dropped off his cell and took punk on to the doctor for his blood work.
  • Baby got his finger poked, didn't cry, and were out of the doc's office in less than half an hour. Hubby had already gotten home. Car probably needs an alternator but made it to the house. :)
  • Got home at about 3:45. Didn't step foot inside. Stayed outside with boys and hubby doing yard work, transplanting flowers and bulbs, spraying boys with water, and swinging them on swing.
  • Spray painted one imitation wicker chair to match new cushions.
  • Got in shower and washed off grime and went to Walmart to do grocery shopping. Spent one hour and too much money at store.
  • Home and groceries put away ant 9:30 pm. One baby and one hubby down. One punk still holding strong. But not for long if I have my say in the matter!
I spent 6 hours of my vacation time getting him to the pediatrician's office. I am horrified by that. I don't have that much time. I hate to use such a big chunk of it. And worst of all, I missed the book I've been listening to at 5 pm, The Help by Kathryn Stockett, just when it was getting really good and very near the end.

I am exhausted.Too tired to be funny.

Check back in tomorrow and see if things have gotten better.
