Country Girls

I know it's been a while since I've posted anything but I have a really good reason. I've not really had anything to say. Okay, okay. That's not believable. Me, nothing to say? Right. Hubby is laughing so hard at that he's nearly in tears. It isn't because I didn't have anything to say, it's because I just didn't want to do it. There, finally, the truth comes out. What a relief. It's like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders.

Yeah, that wasn't very funny was it? Oh well, I do the best I can. So......what's new with BKCMom? Hmm. Oh yeah...MY HUSBAND HAS GOTTEN A JOB!!!!!!! (I apologize for the yelling but that's just how excited I am.) MY HUSBAND HAS A JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!MY HUSBAND HAS A JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!MY HUSBAND HAS A JOB!!!!!!!!!!

We filled out an application early in October for a positon as a track worker with CSX. A few days later, we got an email saying that he'd been scheduled for an interview. He went to the interview and nailed it of course, because that's just the kind of guy he is. (I've got to be nicer to him now that he's about to gain an income.) He was told at the interview that it would be 7-10 days before he got a response. The next day we got an email saying he was being put into the employment pool for the Ashland Terminal and as soon as a position opened up, he would be placed. He was told at the interview that it would be no earlier than January before anyone went to work. That will give him time to finish all of his technical classes at school and me time to finish his computer class. Yeah, you heard me.

So, if you've read this blog on any previous occasion, you no doubt know how excited I am about this new news. Hehe. My husband has a job! MY HUSBAND HAS A JOB!!

In other news, if you see some suspect status updates on my facebook, I am not confessing to anything. They're song lyrics-from songs I like. Try to guess what songs they are and who sings them. Seriously, if you know them, let me know.
